This restaurant in located down a little alley behind the Bollenta in the center of Acqui Terme. It has been tastefully remodeled with antique tables and nice decor and the interior is calm, peaceful and cool, unlike the piazza Bollenta. There is also a small outdoor area, though without a view and definitely warmer in June. The menu is strictly fish and seafood, from the Russian Salad (with tuna) amuse bouche through all the primi and secondi. Our food was innovative and well prepared. The wine list is very interesting and not stocked with the local Gavis, Arneis, and Barbera but rather with a variety of whites and reds that go with seafood, including Vermentino, Muller Thurgau and Riesling. All in all a nice addition to the local dining scene and a place to which we will return.
