The completely renovated factory is hiding an excellent location for seminaries.

The reception is located in the entrance hall where somewhat matching to the location a vintage car is on exhibit. As there are not too many rooms check-in / -out is efficient and the staff very friendly. Without asking the WLAN password is provided with the room key.

The rooms under the roof of the old factory are for Swiss standards large, modern but somewhat sparsely decorated. Everything is very clean whereas the glass door to the bathroom might be a threat to walk into especially at night time. Maybe the provision of a second small towel would be nice. TV was not working but things like this can happen.

The breakfast buffet is providing a nice selection of healthy and also not so healthy food and the personnel is always very friendly. For seminaries lunch is selected in the morning and then served efficiently as required since the time is mostly limited. Cooking is good but not spectacular. Dinner was not taken but word is that the Thai food is good.

For the seminary the rooms are functional. Attention is paid to the catering (coffee, water, fruits, etc) but without making a big fuss about it which is well appreciated as this should not be the main event.

For distraction there is a gym with all what you need however with the risk of waiting if occupied as for example only one running machine. In addition there is a large bowling alley which can be very well frequented at times.

With public transport the location is difficult to reach and by car without GPS one can easily get lost especially when arriving there at night time.

We felt welcome with our group.
The rooms were modern and comfortable, though pretty standard.
The food buffet and wine was great, we enjoyed it a lot!
The hotel is located at a river and very beautifully enlighted at night.

The hotel is nice, but what really stands out is their great Thai restaurant on site. We lived in Switzerland for a year and frequently enjoyed their food. It's the best Thai restaurant we've experienced outside of Thailand. The service is still Swiss (those familiar with Swiss service will deduct all it means), but the food is most definitely Thai. Highly recommend for a Thai fix long, long way from beautiful Thailand.

Had dinner with friends here last weekend. Started with drinks on the large terrace above the Glatt river, then moved into the restaurant for delicious entrecôte steak on hot stone with very fresh mixed salad. There are two steak styles, entrecôte or filet and 2 sizes, of which I took the 300g.

Service was good and the food was excellent, although it is not the cheapest restaurant.

We then went to the bowling alley that belongs to the hotel, but were unable to get a lane as it is apparently very popular!

A nice evening, this hotel looks popular with locals and for companies doing off site meetings. Two restaurants, the other being Thai, with amazing smells emanating from the kitchens.

Will be back!

Room tip: We did not stay, only used the restaurant

Stylish hotel and clean room and spacious junior suite. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Breakfast is included with the room price but make sure to get there early. Half an hour before closing (09:30 on a Sunday) most of the food was already gone (like cold cuts and bacon) on this rather small buffet and they weren't replaced within the 15-20 minutes I stayed there.
