Stylish hotel and clean room and spacious junior suite. Warm welcome and friendly staff. Breakfast is included with the room price but make sure to get there early. Half an hour before closing (09:30 on a Sunday) most of the food was already gone (like cold cuts and bacon) on this rather small buffet and they weren't replaced within the 15-20 minutes I stayed there.

we were caught searching for a hotel for visiting family during the recent european track and field championships. nothing in town was reasonable. then we found hotel riverside.

a design hotel out in the green, north of zürich near the rhein and the glatt rivers. we were completely surprised by the cool rooms with designer glass bathrooms, comfortable beds, and clean lines. please note - we did not stay here, but grandparents, aunts and cousins did. we visited the rooms they had and heard their full reports. they were very pleased.

we all - including toddlers - ate at the hotel's international flair restaurant - were impressed with the food and price. there are at least three restaurants, one was thai themed, one was international, the other was more beer garden type.

the hotel had elements of old and modern in the decor - the wine cellar in the basement is super cool. the "spinnerei" equipment and dials, still left as part of the decoration, give the hotel an interesting flair.

you do need a car to get here, but once here, plenty of parking. it is about 15 minutes to the airport. to get into zurich city you could take the train from the airport, or park at nearby rafz and take the train from there.

we highly recommend.

Even if I already stayed at many business/seminar hotels, this is definitely one of the best ones if not THE best one. The staff is extremely helpful, flexible and cooperative. The meeting rooms have daylight and are perfectly equipped. If you are looking for a team event, the bowling center and the car museum are very nice.

The entire hotel is extremely clean and I loved my big room with its balcony.

There is nothing negative to mention.

BTW: Parking is for free and for the guests arriving by plane, a pick-up service is offered for a good price.

Room tip: All rooms are great - two of them have balconies which is perfect during summer time.

Enjoyed a four-day seminar at this place. Not that easy to reach using public transportation, but possible: I came using S-Bahn and Bus. If you're not a frequent user of public transportation in Switzerland, do prefer coming with a taxi or rental car.

The hotel is set in a former textile factory, completely and skillfully renovated. Stylish interiors for the common areas, as well as for the guest rooms. I enjoyed the windowed bathroom within my room. The rural setting is peaceful, though quite far away from any attraction. No temptation to leave, that keeps the group together.

Mosquitoes are quite aggressive, but other than that the terrace of the restaurant really invites to stay until late at night. We had a very warm later summer night early September. Food was never much in terms of quantity, but always enough and of quite good quality.

I would recommend this seminar hotel anytime, and would even consider this place for a romantic getaway with the damsel of your heart.

After having done several business seminars in Switzerland in not always very fresh hotels, I have finally found a place where the rooms are really nice, the meeting rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent!
On top of that, the prices are more then correct following the Swiss standards!

For business seminar, the place is located close to the airport!

The place can also be recommend for a lunch or a dinner when the weather is fine. The terrace is a great place to eat outside.

For the sportive ones amoung you, you can also come to the place with a bike following the nice bike road along the river.
