Came on a two week holiday with my daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters.
Steve was most helpful in directing me to where the best car hire prices were to be had before we'd even arrived.
As we arrived late, We arranged for Steve to pick up an evening meal from a local restaurant fort us, so that it was waiting for us on arrival.
The pool was wonderful, sparkling, cool, and fully utilised throughout the two weeks by the grandchildren (and the adults). We were given great suggestions for places to visit. As we were there during the annual village festival, Kathleen and Steve accompanied us on that evening (and we didn't feel like outsiders as a result). My wife and I didn't use the bikes, but my son-in-law used one on a couple of occasions, and thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding area (he's a keen cyclist). He's thinking of taking his bike out when we manage to return so he can get out more.
We spent more of our time lounging about during the day, and eating out on an evening (lots of places to eat within easy driving distance).
Conveniently located for both Paphos (about 45 mins leisurely drive) and Latsi Beach (about 30 mins). A good local Winery within 10 mins.
Spent a day on Latsi beach, and all our beach requirements (Umbrellas, tent, sitting mats, reef shoes etc) was supplied without charge (sorry again about losing that shoe!).
We did our food shopping at the local supermarkets (we were given good instructions on how to find them) and cooked on the BBQ provided as part of the rental.
This was very much our kind of holiday, relaxing with trips out when we felt like it.
The girls are already dreaming of returning.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday home from home.
We've stayed here a few times and it's so relaxing. A typical Cypriot village with a little coffee shop in the main village square. Perfect base to explore the island and in the heat of summer, you get some respite from the heat during the night. The views are phenomenal from the balcony and poolside, and there are lots of walks and cycling opportunities. You definitely need a car and this is not a place if you want to go out drinking every night. Short walks or car journeys away, there are fabulous local restaurants and such friendly owners. The owners of the villa are sometimes around and can help with recommendations for trips, food etc but they are very discreet and you really feel king of your own castle. It's only a short journey down the mountain to Paphos and Coral Bay is even closer. I'm pleased that the owners have spread the word a little further but I hope this peaceful haven stays unspoilt.
