We ventured out to the wadi on our own in a 4X4 vehicle and were a little concerned when we saw the road end 16km before the wadi started. It remains one of the best decisions we took when we continued on the uncharted dirt road.
The Wadi is well worth the trip, the villagers hospitable beyond belief and the pools absolutely amazing.
Please do take your trash back with you as there were plastic bags left behind in one of the pools which we cleared out.
Go prepared for a swim and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountain. The villagers have terraced farming which can be viewed from the first pool.
