Stayed at this B&B last weekend. It proved an excellent find.
The welcome was friendly, the room we stayed in was really good with a very comfortable bed and plenty of space.
The location was handy, being just a couple of minutes from the historic town of Mauchline and a short drive from the coast too.
Breakfast each morning was really nicely done.
Overall fantastic value and we will definitely stay again whenever we are visiting this area of Scotland.

One of our stops in our trip along the country, it was lovely and quiet, away from everything. Really comfy beds and spacious rooms. at least the 2 that we had. Owner was nice as well. Very good breakfast. would definitely recommended and would stay again.

My wife myself and 2 teenage children, have just returned from 2 nights at Dykefield Farm. We had tickets for swimming at the Commonwealth Games at theTollcross Centre and despite trying to secure a hotel room in Glasgow (many months ago) The Hotels that had vacancies appeared to have emulated London 2012 as prices were well in excess of £1000 for 2 nights B&B I found a review about Dykefield Farm and called the owner Lynda, and she was able to give us a quadruple room with breakfast for £20 pp per night. Dykefield Farm is down is a half mile down a lane off the main road into Mauchline It is fair way away from Glasgow but due to the games we chose to take a Taxi to Kilmarnock and train to Glasgow, for a stressless journey. The only downside is that you have to share Toilet and bathroom facilities, however despite the lack of of a ensuite we had no problems. The cleanliness of the rooms and quality of beds was excellentLynda was excellent she will be flexible with breakfast times and choice. Should we venture to the area again we would be more than happy to return Dykefield

A lovely quiet farm, with a warm welcome and the very best of cookec breakfasts awaits you here. The beds are comfey with Tea & Coffee facilities in room. The rooms may not be modern furnished but they are clean.Lounge also available to guests. Bathroom has been recently modernised with fab shower & plenty of hot water for a bath. Ecellent value for money.

Room tip: The single room is very small, but the rest are good. Only downfall is shared bathroom if other guests stopping as no seperate loo.
