Kingfisher was a very well equipped and comfortable caravan. We really enjoyed our stay. One small point - the track from the gate to the caravan is somewhat overgrown and needs some cutting back. However all in all a thoroughly pleasant few days in a lovely peaceful area. Charlie, our whippet, had a field day with the rabbits!
With thanks to Sarah and Alison.
We spent an all too short 4 nights in this delightful retreat. Highly recommended for its quiet and secluded position.
Being situated close to Battle, access to Camber Sands to the east and Brighton to the west, not to mention all points in between, were short drives away. All this and not forgetting the beauty of East Sussex as a whole... made this an ideal holiday stay.
For those interested in staying in touch, mobile signals were possible at all times on GPRS with occasional 3G & 4G found. TV reception was iffy but do check with the owner if that's important to you as improvements may be possible and may have been done.
I spent a wonderfully peaceful long weekend here with my young daughters. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes by the kind and attentive owners. The caravan was cosy, inviting and tended to all our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the woodlands and fields and watching the fish bob about under the lilly pads in the lake. The sunsets and sunrises are simply stunning and are not to be missed. We loved being serenaded by robins in the morning and owls at night. We cannot wait to return.
We had our stay over a weekend and really loved it there. The views are beautiful on a sunny day and endless walks over the countryside, its ideal if you love to fish and take walks, or to love peace and quite. Would book again for sure.
