“Delightful surprise”

The Blue and White Teapot Cafe
Ranked #1 of 1 Restaurants in Amamoor
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$ 8 - US$ 20
Description: A visit to the Blue and White Teapot is one that you will want to share with friends near and far. It may look like a quaint little cafe from the front, but stepping through the doors is likened to stepping into another time and place. Whether you prefer to sit in a private garden room or mingle in the courtyard, there is no way you cannot be relaxed by the tranquil surroundings. Stay a short while, or spend hours talking with friends and enjoy the delights of yesteryear, with a pot of loose leaf tea and fine china, or simply a delicious mug of steaming coffee. Indulge in scones with jam and cream or an old fashioned slice for morning tea, or stay for lunch of locally made and grown quiche and salad. Either way, there are options for everyone, including gluten free and vegetarian.

We had a lovely walk to the Amama cascades on Sunday morning and dropped into the Blue and white teapot as a reward . Tables out front and inside and out the back wonderful gardens with tables spread among the trees . Great service and the coffee and scones were delicious .

So worth the visit; so well done. Excellent customer service - warm, welcoming and down to earth. As you explore the amazing gardens, the privacy of the secluded alcoves invites intimacy or sweet solitude whilst one could while away a few hours watching the world meander by in the more open areas and chat to the eclectic locals. Lovely coffee, delicious treats to eat, sensational atmosphere. You'll go back again and again. Love the Blue and White Teapot!

What a gorgeous spot to have tea! The food and service was great, but nicest of all were the little 'hidey holes' in the garden, where you could sit and talk uninterrupted by others. Can't wait to bring some visitors back!

A wonderful find we have never seen anywhere like this place before! It is all blue and white, as the name suggests but it is done so beautifully that it is never overpowering. Baskets , pots and plantings full of flowers are everywhere but it is the amazing collection of blue and white teapots and china that we loved most. The garden is like a serene tropical oasis, tall palms, ferns interesting plantings divide the area into private "rooms" suiting various sized groups. The food is outstanding, so fresh and delicious, the scones, chocolate waffles and cakes to die for. The service is friendly and quick and you get to use the blue and white teapots and china. We just kept going back. It opens early 8:30 on Sunday but isn't open every day I think it opens Sunday to Thursday so ring 044810214 and check or call by it is only a tiny drive to it and if it is shut you can go on to Imbil a bigger town with lots of cafes, coffee shop etc.
