We stopped at this restaurant in October on our way down to Palm Springs for 5 months and were thrilled with our meal. We sat on the patio this time because we had the dogs with us and we ordered the same brisket dinner and salad that we had earlier. The Brisket was dry, tough and totally tasteless when it had been moist and delicious the other time. We sent them back and when they arrived 10 mins later, the meat was equally as undesirable. The server apologized and admitted it was dry and tough. We could not eat it so were compensated with no charge. I am not sure what the problem was but it was not the same food we had in October and because of that we will not be back~~~

Hi Maureen. I am so sorry about your experience. As you know, our Brisket is very popular. We clearly made some mistakes and I am upset that it resulted in a bad experience for you and your family. What happened is not normal and I can assure you that we will retrain our kitchen staff immediately. Thanks for letting us know. We genuinely hope to see you again.

We've been coming here pretty much since they opened. The food and service were pretty consistent in the beginning but something changed about 2 years ago. Fish fry one week was great and a few weeks later, not so much. We tried a few more times and gave up. Breakfast was always consistently good and reliable. Lunch and dinner entrees were generally good but we had some not-so-good ones too.
This week we had lunch there and the buffalo chicken wrap as well as the Reuben were excellent. (Last time not so good). Today we went in for breakfast: I ordered eggs over medium with extra crispy hash browns and crispy toast. Eggs came out over easy and potatoes and toast came out limp. Partner ordered a veggie skillet. The skillet was a plastic dish and the food was tasteless. Apparently they sorta cooked each skillet item separately and put them on the plate together to serve. Not how a skillet meal should be prepared. The skillet items should be cooked together in a cast iron skillet so there is an infusion of juices, oils and cast iron flavor that gives a skillet meal its signature taste. Needless to say we won't be doing breakfast there again. Server was great.

A distance away from the Stadiums but worth the ride. Moist brisket and fall off the bone ribs. Recommended.

We were passing by a couple of days ago. We were glad we stopped. The waitress was very pleasant, service was good, and food was tasty. Recommend.

Sometimes dining with extended family can be a challenge - everyone wants something different. This grill hit it out of the park for us. They had lots of different bbq sauce flavors to try. We delighted in bbq ribs (fall off the bone tender), and Alaskan cod with fresh lemon, coleslaw, hush puppies and fries. Something for everyone. Some nights (fridays) the fish is all-you-can-eat.
