A lovely, clean, dog friendly and well equipped cottage with a surprising amount of space. Jo the owner was very helpful all through the booking process and responded to any queries quickly. She even left us some Bakewell pudding on our arrival which was yummy! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and finding out about the history of Eyam.
My friends come regularly and invited me to join them. Omg I have loved my time here, the cottage is cosy, warm, perfectly situated, spotless. With a lovely little garden with table and chairs in the front and decking for the sun in the early evening. We even lit an open fire just because we had to. We cooked our breakfast in the large kitchen and ate out during the day. Really can't wait to visit again. Just one thing I would love to know who has lived in these cottages over the years
Had a really great stay in the cottage and loved exploring the Peak District. The cottage was cosy but spacious and had a very comfy bed. We cooked a lot and the kitchen definitely became the hub of our stay. Eyam was also a really good historical village to stay in with a great walk up past the house, up a steep hill where there was an amazing view. Joanna also left us a delicious treacle tart which we enjoyed. Thanks for the great stay!
Eyam View cottage is an amazingly perfect holiday cottage.
We stayed Easter 2017 and found it was super comfortable, well equipped and just like being at home!
Would throughly recommend for a family trip to this beautiful part of the country - it was within half hours drive from a large choice of day-outs; very handy as we are a family with two small children and wish to maximise our quality time together!
It was also very close to excellent restaurants, a good curry house and decent chippy, just what working parents need after a busy day out.
So if you're thinking of visiting Derbyshire Eyam View cottage is the place to stay!
We'll definitely be back soon.
