“Secluded peaceful location with stunning views, bliss”
Reviewed 12 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

This was our first stay in a lodge, we felt 100% at home and was given 100% privacy we could not have asked for more from our stay in the lodge! we was made to feel very welcome and even managed to add an extra nights stay at short notice! the wine and shortbread were well received and a lovely touch , the lodge itself was perfect and the nearby towns had plenty to do and see! the scenery was absolutely stunning at this time of year we definitely hope to stay again.

Thanks very much for your lovely review. I was so please that you managed to get home in time to come up a night early - Loch Tay certainly deserves at least three nights to appreciate it. I hope to welcome you back again. Thanks, Ali

“Best Lodge i have ever stayed at!”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

One word - Incredible!
Hot tub and outside eating area are covered which is essential for Scottish weather. Inside the lodge itself was always the perfect temperature and with a sauna, dual showers, underfloor heating and sky tv - you couldn't ask for more. The view to the loch was breathtaking and the nearby village of Kenmore had everything you could need for your stay plus gorgeous walks along the riverbanks and through the village itself.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back again at the earliest opportunity!

“amazing place to chill”
Reviewed 26 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Amazing cabin, sauna, hot tub, even the bed. Cabin is cosy, very clean and has everything you need, bottle of wine and milk a lovely touch.
Clear instructions how to get there, get keys.
Location is truly beautiful, one of the most stunning places to stay in Scotland, lots to see, walking and in the car, return to beautiful cabin for lush sauna and hot tub taking in the lovely view.
Can not recommend this location and cabin enough.

“Fan-Tay-stic”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This beautiful property was a fabulous place for a short break. The scenery was stunning, helped by beautiful Scottish October sunshine, the canoes were great fun (even for semi beginners) and the Loch so close to the lodge that it was great to sit out next to it with a bottle of wine (two) and ten jumpers. The lodge itself had everything you would need and I had to use the fishing net to get my husband OUT of the hot tub. Cosy and cute. The lodge that is.

Thanks for your lovely review - and thanks so much for posting the lovely photo on facebook, you would hardly believe it is October. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, sitting down at the Loch with a bottle or two of wine is a favourite pastime of mine too, and the Loch is ideal for chilling the wine! Hope to welcome you back in the future. Ali

“A little piece of Scottish Heaven”
Reviewed 20 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

Everything was wonderful, from the moment we arrived til the moment we left. No wine for us as others have mentioned but this may have been due to a bit of confusion with the caretakers not knowing the changeover day but this didn't matter. The property is gorgeous and the views are breathtaking. We made use of the hot tub and sauna on a daily basis and had a couple of really lazy days where we just vegged out and watched movies on the Sky package.
The lodge is perfectly situated for drives out to Crieff, we would recommend the Famous Grouse Experience and the Caithness Glass Centre there, Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. However, it would be easy to just stay around the Lodge and walk down to the private beach with a bottle of wine. If the weather is bad just enjoy the wine in the hot tub!
We had a slight issue with the Sonos system but a message to the owner Ali and it was promptly rectified. Ali also invited us to take some of the delicious apples from her tree on our departure. Great service.
This was the perfect place for us to spend our 3rd wedding anniversary and my 30th birthday.
We cannot recommend more highly.

Thanks very much for your lovely review. Firstly, my apologies about the wine - I'm not sure what happened there, but I hope the apples made up for it! I'm also delighted you enjoyed your anniversary meal at Café D'Amour, it is lovely. I will pass you thanks onto Donnie for you too. Hope to welcome you back again, and I'll make sure there is a lovely bottle waiting for you! :o)
