It might be 3+stars but possibly in a rating out of 10.
I had to remake the bed as the sheets only made it halfway up the bed, bottom sheet was only covering the matress on 3 side, possibly only double bed sheets for a queen bed.
In a family room with 1 queen and 2 single beds, there was only 1 chair and no table, there was a bench where the microwave was on, but no space to sit at it as there was a cupboard built-in under it with a small fridge and waste-bin.
Only half the lights worked in the unit, the curtains were falling off the wall, the shower had to have the hot water at max just to get a warm shower, though the ensuite had recently been renovated and was quite ok.
People say, at least you get what you oay for, I've been to San Fran, New York, Montreal, Niagra Falls, Coronado, and yes you do get what you pay for, but I believe our money was given in faith for a comfortable room, which it wasn't.
I explained the failings to the receptionist on our departure, and a shrugged "Oh" was all that could be mustered.
It doesn't look like I'll be returning, the only saving grace was the nearby eating establishment, "Thai Aroma", excellent food.

Room Tip: Lowest room number is closer to office where WiFi is available, the higher the number, the poorer the WiFi.

Happy to rate this motel as very good because it met our criteria - pet friendly, bugdet accomodation for a one night stay, in a convenient location.

Many places advertise they are pet friendly, but when you read the small print you often get rubbish like no dogs larger than a miniature shitzou, no dogs allowed inside, $500 extra charge for your dog, blah blah.

Here we just paid a refundable $100 cash bond for our black lab, no dramas and he loved being just a few kms from the beautiful north shore beach at Mudjimba.

Sure, the unit was pretty basic and compact, with a rather small double bed, but there was a single as well. Tea, coffee and milk provided, plus tv, microwave and air con. Guessing the latter would be vital in the summer, as even in mid winter, it was a bit stuffy.

The angle parking works just about ok, so long as everybody knows how to angle park properly.

Booking online was probably not the best thing to do.
1. Air conditioner didn't work. In fact all the wiring in room 5 was dodgy.
2. Room wasn't serviced on Saturday and the girl said she forgot.
3. Room was apparently serviced on Sunday but the covers were put on but the sheets were not tucked in or remade. Seriously?
4. The bed is that old and worn, you literally sink into the middle.
5. The cutlery and crockery haven't been washed for at least a month.
6. Pool is dirty.

Just really dissapointing and will never ever be back.

My family and I stayed here for a night. What a disaster. The lady checking us in would prefer to be on her phone than talk to me. The Tv had only 2 channels that worked and no Doona's on the beds we froze all night. For $135 for the night in the Sunshine Coast I guess you get what you pay for.

The rooms were clean and tidy. The blinds are not block out. parking is tight. rates are OK for what you get. Friendly staff but the website booking system did not suit our needs. Small things detracted from the stay. No milk in fridge for cupps, both lamps had blown light bulbs and the air con remote was no-where to be found.

Room Tip: rooms 1 - 6 are better for parking.
