We spent a few days at Brimnes cabines in November. Our summerhouse was cozy and comfortable, right by the frozen lake...amazing landscape!
The cabin had all facilities, a perfect hot tub on the veranda and a really "Icelandic feeling".
The service was great too, the owner was kind and helpful. We totally recommend this place and will definitely come back next summer!
We stayed in one of the self catering wooden cabins overlooking the lake. The cabin was well laid out and appointed and had a lovely hot tub on the front deck. The setting is stunning overlooking a lake surrounded by mountains, we really enjoyed our stay.
Charming cottage house. Though we didn't use it the hot tub option was so delightful. We arrived late but were accommodated easily and quickly. Everything was smooth and welcoming. I would recommend this for sure.
We got upgraded to a bigger cottage as the cottage we had checked in , heaters were not working properly ...Host apologized for same and gave us a free upgrade to bigger cottage with big kitchen ....We loved our stay at cottage with all amenities, number of cooking utensils ..Thanks for making our stay memorable ....Although weather was bit foggy , as it had rained heavily in Northern Iceland at that time ....So couldnt enjoy the view ....Would love to come back again ...
The place was remote and comfortable, with plenty of amenities and friendly staff. Rustic feel to the cabin but all of the modern amenities. The Brimnes cabins had an outdoor flavor and a romantic vibe, including the super comfortable hot tub!
