“The Bowery hidden gem!”
Reviewed 14 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Lovely cottage in the village of Bellingham short walk to village store, 3 pubs & a few shops.
This was a late booking & the owners were very helpful everything in the accomodation you need, very warm & cosy kitchen was imaculate with washer/dryer, dish washer, fridge, oven & microwave all very clean. Very close for Kielder & ideal for the Observatory.
When you don't want to cook The Cheviot Hotel for a great Sunday lunch or take away!!!
Thanks to the owners for a great little place hopefully we will return!

A lovely cottage situated in a quiet close, just off the main street in Bellingham, which is a great centre for exploring Northumberland. The accommodation was really comfortable for ourselves and our two dogs: warm even in December !

“Fabulous accommodation, fantastic hosts, nothing too much trouble”
Reviewed 2 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

Fabulous accommodation with lovely cosy feel. Ian was even kind enough to move the single bed upstairs so our 9 year old could sleep in the same room with us. Ideally situated for Kielder Winter Wonderland, with shops and pubs very close by. Wonderful break.

“Peaceful haven in stunning countryside”
Reviewed 10 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Friendly owners: helpful without being intrusive. Lovely cottage on a working sheep farm. Easy access to Kielder water and Hadrian's wall. Cottage is warm and cosy, with lovely patio for sitting out. New kitchen about to be put in just as we left, which will be an added bonus.

“Cosy and welcoming”
Reviewed 19 November 2014 for a stay in October 2014

The cottage was exactly as advertised. The main bedroom was beautiful and the adjoining lounge area cosy and warm. Kitchen had all the basics required and the local shops 3 minutes away were very handy. Good location as a base to visit places of historical interest or walks along the river! Would recommend.
