We stayed at the resort for 4 nights at the end of August and it was wonderful. We had a 3 bedroom unit which had a fully stocked kitchen (just bring food), powder room, dining & living room on the main floor and a huge deck over looking the lake. Upstairs was 3 bedrooms with two twins, one double and one queen bed. The twin room had a huge deck off the back of the townhouse over looking the hills behind the resort. The queen bedroom had a huge deck overlooking the lake with sliding glass doors that you could keep open at night and hear the water. The kids absolutely loved the beach and pool. So nice that they have a little kiddy pool for our toddler to play in and she was totally safe, there is a playground as well for the kids. The provincial park next door had some great trails for hiking. The location is remote enough that you have a nice quiet section of the lake to enjoy from your deck or the grass area below but still close enough to run into town for a quick run in to town for essentials. We would definitely stay there again.

Thank you for the favorable review. It is always our goal to make certain each guest or family has a great vacation at Casa Loma. The staff take great pride in their work and always appreciate hearing from our guests. We do enjoy our secluded little corner of Lake Okanagan and look forward to once again sharing it with your family.

We were traveling with our friends and rented a two bedroom townhouse for 2 nights, and none of us wanted to leave. Suites were fully equiped and they even put a King Size topper in the second bedroom for us. Downtown Kelowna is approx 5 to 10 minute drive away and restaurants at the wineries are close, but we purchased groceries and ate all of our meals in - much more affordable that way, and we could drink all the wine we wanted! It was the perfect choice for us.

Room Tip: The Townhouses are wonderful.

I am glad you enjoyed your weekend at Casa Loma and "Thank You' for your comments. As always, the staff appreciate knowing that you had a pleasant stay. We hope to see you another weekend - the sun is still shining in the Okanagan, the wineries and golf courses are still in full operation!
Many thanks,

We have just returned from a week long stay at Casa Loma, with our three young kids (all under 4), and my sister and her young family. Having booked our room sight unseen, and based largely on reviews from this site, we could not have been happier with our choice. Our 3 bdrm condo was spacious, well layed out, and stocked with everything we needed and more. The grounds were beautifully looked after, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the pride of ownership was apparent around every corner. The kids loved the two pools, the putting green, the large beach area with walk in access for their tiny legs, the wharf, and the fantastic playground. Only a few minutes from downtown Kelowna, and we felt like were were in our own private oasis. One of the best family vacations we have ever had. We definitely hope to be back.

Just spent 4 nights in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom room at this quiet, lovely place. It's not really a hotel, nor a motel or even a resort. It's a low level (3 storey) chalet style place located in a residential neighborhood but right on beautiful Lake Okanagan. The views overlooking the lake are the selling feature here, although we had a nice clean, pretty apartment with a fully stocked kitchen and living room. There are two laundry rooms for guests and this is an ideal place for families. In fact, be prepared for lots of noisy kids and the sound travels when you open your doors to the patio overlooking the lake. I think the top floor would be the most quiet, but this is primarily a family resort. Perfect in summer. Maybe less so in winter. It's conveniently located on the west side of the bridge which connects to downtown, a 5 minute drive. It's also convenient to access Hwy 97 south toward Penticton. If you wish to be near the airport or UBC-Okanakan there are closer options. We loved it and hope to be back. Kelowna and the South Okanagan are gems to visit.

Thank you for your kind remarks. Casa Loma is indeed a family resort in the summer season. From October 1 to April 30 we are also a popular extended stay property. Our fully furnished units are ideal for business visits and snowbirds - your ideal home away from home. Our wireless internet upgrades will be completed within the month- a move I'm certain all guests will appreciate. We look forward to your return visit!

We stayed here the weekend before the May long weekend. We stayed at one of the villas and the rest of our family stayed in the 3 BR condo. It was nice and relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake.

The service was good but if you would need help, you need to make sure you get the help before 5, otherwise there's no one at the front desk and you would have to call the manager using the phone they have outside the office.

The 3 BR condo was nice but the second bedroom isn't really a bedroom but a big den with a skylight but no windows and the door is actually a super-sized closet door.

The villa was small but very cozy. We particularly liked the deck and the BBq grills and picnic tables right across the villa.
I was told when I booked that the pool will not be open yet which is fine. We got there
