Excellent cottage would recommend to anyone. This is my third visit to Low Costa Mill Cottages so that says it all. Tracey and Dave are so welcoming and if a problem was to occur I would feel very confident it would be dealt with at first convenient opportunity.

Stayed in August with extended family occupying 4 of the cottages for a week whilst attending my son’s wedding. There were 7 young children amongst us who all really enjoyed the pool, playground, extensive gardens and the animals. There were plenty of walks for the one dog, we ourselves had the largest cottage, Heron View, which was extremely well appointed, had everything we needed, all of a high quality, and also a fabulous garden area for the whole group to have a family barbecue. It was so peaceful and I watched kingfishers, from the garden and also the lounge. It was a pleasant walk into Pickering which is a lovely small town, and is a short drive to the coast and North York Moors. I can certainly recommend these cottages and we plan to return ourselves next tear

This is the 3rd time we’ve been to low Costa mill cottages and again they fail to disappoint. The owners greet you warmly with the lovely touch of fresh laid eggs and nothing is too much trouble for them. The cottage ( a different one to which we have previously stayed in) was lovely and clean just like the times we’ve stayed before. The indoor pool is fantastic, we love the fact you can access it at anytime so, after a day off site and the kids falling asleep in the car on the way back we can then take them swimming to tire them out again so, they’ll sleep at bedtime. The woodland walk is also nice to explore searching for fairy houses and the outdoor play equipment our girls loved, it has such a big grass area to play on that even the adults enjoyed a kick about with a football. This was a family holiday for a family of 4 along with 2 grandparents, the cottage was spacious for the 6 of us and we all loved it here, we will definitely be back.

Second holiday here, after having experienced an amazing Christmas holiday we came for a summer holiday and was blown away with the beauty and tranquillity of the place. Stayed in leat cottage which contained everything u need and more, every attention to detail has being thought off. Perfect garden to the rear alongside a running beck with outdoor seating to watch local wildlife surround u. The pool was perfect size and very well kept, with play equipment for children on the field and a lovely woodland walk around the premises. Great location to venture off for days.
I cannot fault this beautiful set up, you will not be dissappointed to book your holiday here.

Beautiful cottage, and very welcoming host! It was the perfect location for our weekend away. It feels secluded even though it's very close to Pickering. The main reason for our stay was to visit the North Yorkshire Moors Railways (5 minutes away), but since we were so close, we even visited the East coast. The kids loved the outdoor play area and the indoor swimming pool. No mobile signal, so appreciated the Wifi (so did the kids).
