This is a lovely holiday property in a beautiful location. The house and gardens have been designed and furnished with great care and attention. We felt relaxed and happy from the moment we arrived. The property was immaculate throughout and the owners had left us wine and roses to get our stay off to a lovely start. It was all I had hoped for - very special.

“Gorgeous property”

The property was stunning and the garden was beautiful. The views over to Glen Beach were pretty awesome, particularly at sun rise and sunset. We loved exploring this part of Wales, which is very pretty.

The owners left us a bottle of wine on arrival, a nice touch.

The cottage was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable - I slept very well all week (baby's night wakings aside!)

My only complaints would be that the temperature of the hot tub was hard to maintain - we never got it hotter than tepid. It was also quite a lot of work to keep it fired up.

Whilst the cottage was child friendly in that there was a cot/highchair and children's cups/plates/cutlery, it probably wasn't ideal for our 9 month old - it has stone flooring throughout and I was constantly worried about falls and bumps.

My only other minor complaint would be that the cottage could only be hired on a Friday to Friday basis. For us, this wasn't ideal as it meant having to take 6 days annual leave rather than 5. But the main problem was travelling on a Friday - we had an excruciating long journey back home on the final day in Friday rush hour traffic - 9 hours in the car with 2 pre-schoolers was not fun!

That said, we had a fab week and would definitely consider returning.
