This was our first time in the Blue Ball although we've visited Tenby on numerous occasions and had been let down by our usual venue so were a little apprehensive. We were shown to a table for 2 by the fireplace which was a nice spot with plenty of space for other people to pass by without disturbance.
The starter was very nice, pork croquette with crackling and an apple sauce - a very generous and tasty portion each. The fish dish was also very tasty and we asked for the main course to be delayed until we were ready as we needed some breathing space - this was no problem at all and after about 20 mins, we indicated that we were now ready.
The fillet steaks we had ordered were superb!! I had raised an eyebrow that we didn't have steak knives but needn't have been concerned as we didn't need them, the meat was so tender that it cut through like butter. The steaks were both medium cooked to perfection as were the vegetables and butter bean mash - the flavours were unbelievable!!
Desert very nice, chocolate Amaretto pot & an orange, lemon mousse followed by Irish coffee - MMMmmmm!! Well done to all the staff & thank you!!
