When I arrived with my wife, son and Grandson I looked at the scaffolding and thought Oh dear! I need not have worried. This is a warm, friendly, charming hotel with lots of character. Perfect location for our visit to Tenby. The staff were superb as was breakfast. The pool and bar area facilities were excellent. A big thank you to the staff for making our break in Tenby so special. We have travelled all over Europe and this is how a hotel should be run. We look forward to returning soon. Nice old Victorian hotel, with attractive public areas and a handy private car park (rare in Tenby). We were given a large, well decorated and furnished room, though at the back, with views of flat roof, aircon etc. Since scaffolding covered the front, a sea view room was perhaps not worth it anyway.
Good shower, but small TV and dips in the mattress which gave me backache.
Great breakfast in a large room with an excellent selection and good service. No evening meals available, but plenty of restaurants around.
All staff were lovely, helpful and efficient.

I turned up at 1am and was given a room immediately whilst no other hotels in the area were taking any bookings. Great service, lovely room and amazing breakfast in the morning. Staff are very professional and friendly, I will definitely stay here again.
