The weather was warm enough to sit outside in the garden. It was busy but we managed to get a table without waiting. The scones and Devon cream were yummy as was the crab sandwich. We returned the next day to try the carrot cake and sticky toffee pudding which was equally as good. I did order the bread and butter pudding but not available on that day.

Went at lunchtime but we treated ourselves to an afternoon tea. Fresh sandwiches on granary bread which was really fresh. Cakes that were very scrum my and strawberry scones that were stunning. Had a free pot of tea extra to wash it down with and even the dog was given a rich tea biscuit. Stunning. If we came back ti ilfracomce would have another aftrenoon tea for lunch.

We visited the nice little restaurant Easter Saturday for a light lunch.

We were greeted by Andy the Manager who showed us to the table and then took the time to tell us about the menu and the restaurant where ever possible the food is fat/gluten free, it makes a nice change to talk to someone who is passionate about their work so many times you are greeted by a miserable body in an apron who really does not want to be there.

I had the fresh crab sandwich and my wife had the small cream tea both were excellent and well-presented that and the sunshine made for an idyllic lunch

Well done Andy we will be back whenever we are down your way

Closed for their well earned winter break Andy and Jennie are closed until next year. I have to remember this and not try to go and see them for coffee/lunch!

We visited this lovely little tea room, several times during our weeks holiday. The cream teas are to die for, and excellent value for money. We had the mini cream teas, which was just enough for us, and our little dog was made welcome too!!! A lovely little find!! Another visit from us will be guaranteed if we are in the area. Keep up the good work guys!!!
