We arrived a bit early but the daughter of the owner was very kind and helped us do the paperwork and then we sat in the living room while our son ate his lunch. I feel they finished getting our room ready to accommodate us and that may be why they overlooked a ripped up kids magazine in the drawer of the dresser, therefore I feel it unfair to mark them negatively for this. The hotel is a bit worn in parts, like bits broken on the window blind and the bathroom was a bit dated and the towels worn. But the towels and bed linen were clean. The beds were new (but did have sharp corners so I wouldn’t advise letting unsteady young children toddle around) and very comfortable, as were the pillows, and we slept soundly throughout our stay. We were provided with a travel cot for the baby without trouble and my baby slept soundly in this. There was plenty of space in the family room and very comfortable. This is a family run hotel and they were lovely and kind, they were helpful with anything we asked from filling up our water bottles to providing an iron and board prior to the wedding we were attending. Their cooked breakfast was lovely and although our waist lines shouldn’t have had it, we had one every morning. It was just the right amount to feel full. The price for this hotel’s location was very good and a good reflection of what you get. It’s so close to tunnels beach, you could fall out of bed there. Also the WiFi was very good.

Stayed for one night in a family room
Which looked like it had been done up ,
Breakfast was ok had better shame there was no fresh fruit or yoghurts , only one person serving in the dining room so guests had to wait a while to be served .

Don't let the tired exterior put you off staying here,we had a two night stay over in a suite room equipped with a recently fitted bathroom complete with bidet and Jacuzzi bath, the rest of the suite looked pretty recently updated also fitted out with decent furnishings.breakfast was included in price and had table service.parking for motorcycle was just to rear of hotel.all in all an absolute bargain and staff fantastic all round.

Stayed two nights in a "jacussi room". Turns out to be a bedroom sitting room and bathroom. Decor is light and fresh rooms clean and bed comfy. Breakfast is good, though the internet is wrong, they no longer serve dinner, too much competition to be viable.
People complaining the owner is rude and arrogant must have stayed at a different hotel the owner at this hotel is courteous helpful and friendly and his staff are the same. I have stayed in hotels at two or three times this price that are much worse quality and have worse staff.
What's not perfect? The outside of the building needs some tlc and the balcony looks out over the car park to the road so not scenic.
