My wife and I stayed for one night - April 5th 2018.
On first impressions the hotel looked very clean and this was subsequently borne out when we were shown our room and went for breakfast the next morning in their restaurant.
The room was spacious - a double bed, chair, table, wall TV, kettle and a little box containing tea, coffee, milk and sugar. All very clean
There was an on suite bath / shower, toilet and sink. All very clean and in working order.
We only had breakfast which was very nice. There were choices full English, vegetarian, as well as a good choice of cereal. If an item on the full breakfast was not something you wanted they were very happy to substitute something else for it.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
There is a lift to the rooms on the first floor. It is a quaint lift in that it was the old style an outside door with a sliding metal gate on the inner part. It was very smooth and quiet in operation. Our grandson was fascinated as the only one he knew were the modern ones found in department stores.More
