I had a salad sandwich, my son had the full english and my husband and other son had beans and chips. The cafe was very quiet and neat and the staff were very friendly. The cafe is self was very clean and had a lovely feeling. The cottage interior was very cosy and warm. We would return.

Had big English breakfast and cream tea. Breakfast was cooked on the spot with fresh ingredients, very tasty. Big portion of cream tea with homemade scones. Lovely cafe. Would come back.

When in Devon you have to try the "Cream Tea". It's one of the things Devon is famous for. This is two fresh baked home made scones with jam and clotted cream.. with of course a pot of tea. Its one of the "must do's" if you go to Devon.

I have to say Adele served up the freshest, loveliest, tastiest scones with perfect jam and clotted cream I could have wished for. Perfect! So, if you're in North Devon make a bee line for Ilfracombe (which is well worth a visit) and head to the harbour. Just around the corner is Adele's cafe. It's welcoming and friendly. I'm sure you'll enjoy the cream tea if that's what you fancy!

P.S. They also serve up lovely toasted tea cakes as well!
