Restaurant was very busy, but owner Denis was very accommodating.
Even though it was busy, service was excellent, and there was no delay in an element.
We both had Pizza, and they were delicious.
My wife tried out a new fizzy rose wine and the report back was very positive

The team always give us a huge welcome here. Just walk in and usually get a table. The food is lovely and staff are great with the kids!! There's a reason it's been open so long! Our go to family meal!

If i had not had a recommendation I might not have ventured in - on the ground floor was a clutter of young folk hanging around a rather sad empty room, and the restaurant is in the semi-basement - and was packed out when we turned up. But we were promised a table in an hour, and on return were served some very tasty Italian food by charming waiting staff. Not sophisticated but good fun and perfectly lovely food and wine. it hit the spot!

Loverly well cooked & served food, mussels & crab ravioli enjoyed by grandson & chilli beef penne by me plus huge profitero desert. Restaurant is in basement & whilst can be easily seen from prom, when entering foyer no signs of where it is located which is via a room looking like a bar & in far corner, nearly walked as couldn't see it out but thankfully didn't & enjoyed good meal but needs better signage in lobby or can lose customers who don't know how to gain access

I went to Paparazzi again on Saturday evening and although it was a full house and very busy the staff as always were friendly and very helpful and found a table for me almost instantly.
The new refurbishment makes this great restaurant even better - but the stars as always are the food and the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are always friendly and attentive to everybodies particular needs.
On Saturday evening I ordered the 14" garlic bread based Bruschetta with cheese, finely chopped onions and tomato for my starter, and very cheekily asked if I could have a seafood calzone (not on the menu - but shows just how great and accomadating the staff and management are - no trouble at all !!!) As always the food was divine - the seafood calzone was out of this world and packed with plenty of lovely fresh seafood !! I had a lovely bottle of wine to help wash all of this down and espresso to complete my meal at a more than reasonable total of £38.40 !! Unbelievable value for money considering how generous the portion sizes are !!
The new refurbishment with plush carpet greeting you as you walk through the door in the reception area is a lovely touch and much more welcoming than the old wooden floor that was there previously and then down into the restaurant itself with freshly decorated walls with many lovely black and white pictures of stars past and present makes for a classy feel and very enjoyable surroundings to enjoy your food in - and surprisingly in this day and age - everything on the menu has stayed at the same price ! No increase - apart from the selection of amazing dishes on the menu, now its even harder to decide on what to enjoy as the menu keeps getting better and better - and the specials board always has something new and exciting to tempt you !!
All in all a brilliant experience and lovely to see that the restaurant is still family friendly too and caters for all from large parties to single diners - keep up the great work Paparazzi - we are lucky to have you here looking after our needs - see you very soon,
Regards,
Keith
