We were staying in Ventnor for our anniversary and came across this place for sunday lunch. Nice location down on the beach with seats available outside. The food was amazing. My wife and I both went for the roast beef and it was one of the best roasts we have had! Good service and very friendly staff. Good choice of beers too. Would highly recommend, especially for a Sunday roast..we will be back on our next visit to the Island.

We were recommended this restaurant by out hotel after struggling to find somewhere to eat at short notice.. what a recommendation. We went early evening the food was excellent and better than a lot of more notable restaurants. The service was good with a knowledge and manner which complemented
The food and try to over shadow it. In my opinion it has I all and I for one will return

This restaurant, overlooking the sea, is, in my opinion, worth visiting. In fact a must!! Crisp white table cloths and linen napkins set the standard and the food is some of the nicest we have eaten. A talented chef whose limited size menu (a good thing) is full of delights. I had the lamb, done two ways...the belly had been cooked for 6 hours so the fat was fully rendered and the fillet which was cooked just pink, tender and perfect. Full of flavour.
The whole meal was a delight. I have eaten in some top quality restaurants and this one can show them how to serve good food. The owner is the maitre d'. The chef will go far. We hope to visit the Isle of Wight again. I just hope this combination is still there so we can eat there again. They deserve continued success

We had an excellent meal here, served by very friendly and efficient staff and as we were on holiday they allowed us to bring the dog in & we tucked him away in a corner. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Location, staff, service and food 1st class for the third year running. We cannot fault this bistro and will be back again next year, the highlight of this year's Isle of Wight break, again
