We absolutely loved it here...and we were both so chuffed that they were able to accommodate us with our unpredictable 2yr old. We arrived at about 10:30am and we were in luck as the scones had been freshly baked that morning so they were still warm... mmmm... the lady that serviced us was brilliant, calling our daughter 'a fairy' which I thought was really lovely. The fairy garden at the back was magical and if we had, had the time we would have gone back. Thankyou so much x

Five adults attended this afternoon 14/09/17 and had a variety of cream teas, the service was great, order was taken taken and delicious scones and tea arrived shortly after.
I'm not sure if it was the owner who served us but she was very friendly and humorous and people who moaned about the sign on the counter need to lighten up a bit, life's too short. Obviously I can only comment about one visit but if I visit the area again I will certainly pop in

Popped in here on a damp Monday morning for a warming drink and a Toasted Teacake.
Quick service with a smile and the Teacakes were delicious and hot. Would certainly go here again.

Popped in for Elevenses attracted by exterior and signs which said best Winners of Best Tea Rooms on the Isle of Wight! There are three inside parlours and a lovely cottage garden so as sun was out we went and sat in the latter. We had a pot of tea with fruits scone, clotted cream and strawberry jam plus a deluxe hot chocolate with marshmallows. Lovely drinks, food and service. Apparently the owners Pat and Charles are celebrating their 10th anniversary of the tea room in 2017. Well done. Quintessentially English - thatched cottage, cottage garden and cream teas!

Well what a find this was!.
We needed a pick me up after a very wet day of our holiday , and what better way to recover than a cream tea!.
We chose this against the rest because it stuck out and so glad we did. It is very quirky inside with individual coloured rooms with bits and bobs in each. We sat in the green room which was the fairy room.
The menu is quite vast but after choosing are first choice , unfortunately sold out due to arriving late in the day, we had the savoury tea , and glad in the end it was!.
It had 3 small warm scones all different cheesy varietys, which were surpurb , cream cheese, a lovely chunky and fruit to decorate with a big pot of they own blend tea.
The staff was extremely lovely and prices will really reasonable, it was 5.95 each.
We will return again to try the rhubarb and ginger before we go home!!!.
