We stayed here at the end of Oct in one of the lodges.it is as many reviewers have said - dated and not very clean. The windows and curtains look like they've not been cleaned in a long time with cobwebs and stains that were rather yucky. It was an issue only because we have a toddler who likes pulling at the curtains.
Just a suggestion to the operator of this park - clean the windows and curtains, it makes a massive difference to the experience.
This is a shame because the kitchen, bedrooms and toilets were clean and tidy and the appliances work. The mattresses were very comfortable with adequate bedding provided.
The playground was a hit with my little one.
The best thing about this is the location. You can walk into Shanklin high Street with its quaint shops and cafes. It was a very pleasant walk with a buggy. There is a Lidl at the entrance to the park and a large Coop close by.
It is a perfect location as a base for exploring IOW.
