My partner and I have just returned home from a 4 day break in this guest house and cannot recommend it enough. Barrie and Alison where the perfect hosts, very friendly and made us feel very welcome from the word go. Bedroom and guest house spotlessly clean, great location also. Had a great few days made better by this lovely guest house and it's owners, would recommend highly.

Received a warm welcome on arrival.
The Single Room was very clean and was as advertised.
Location was ideal for local amenities & close to the sea front.
Very friendly hosts that cook a super full breakfast.

Barry and Alison very good hosts and saw to our every need. Excellent breakfasts. Only downside was the noise from outside from the local gulls, very loud on and off throughout night. Took a few nights to get used to it. Also on some evenings there was loud music playing from the rugby/cricket club next door which you could hear even when the television was on. However this usually finished before midnight.

Hi, Pleased that you feel we looked after you and hope you enjoyed your stay.
The seagulls are part of the seaside and can be a bit noisy at times, we have no control over them, but will mention it to the council. As for the cricket club, we have spoken to the chairman, the bar is open until 11pm ( and Ashleigh guests are welcome to use it ) but some weekends this is extended until midnight for special functions, with windows and doors open it can be a little noisy, sorry if this disturbed your sleep.

A real family feel to the place. Really lovely people who couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was consistently delicious! The room was very clean and well equiped. The location is ideal only a stones throw from the sea front. We will defiantly be returning! All round brilliant stay.
