This place is living in the dark ages and just like a rink I used to use back in the 80’s. There is 1 man behind a small window taking payment which meant the queue to get in on a Saturday evening were a joke. Then the cloakroom and skate hire are all behind one counter with 2 people serving which again was very slow. The rink itself is huge, but needs a new floor as it’s bumpy and uneven in parts. The bar was small and only 1 person serving. Great place to skate, but lengthy queues and out dated facilities.

Great family place for an afternoon. Kids aged 11 loved it. I don't think the £2 spectator charge should be used though. There was a good selection of drinks but not food, but the food was lovely and fairly priced. Will come back again.

Best skating rink in England, each time I visit here it takes me back to the "Glory Days" at the rink way back in the 80's when the place to be when you weren't old enough to go drinking in town was 'the rink'. The atmosphere hasn't changed only my age & the music on occasion - still have the enthusiasm & most of the energy I used to have! It's a different generation but still who cares, your as young as you feel & that's that!! Some of the 'old regulars' are still going too & have their kids with them...it's so ironic. The facilities are really good - secure lockers to leave your belongings, restaurant area, bar & coffee shop, & most importantly the skate shop for all your skating needs. The staff are former empoyee's who came together to renovate & take ownership of the rink since its decline in the early 90's. I'll always remember my skating days, the friends I made, the laughs we had, the speed skates I took part in, good time memories never to fade. Get down there & get some wheels on man...!! Webbie!

Great place to take the kids (fun for adults to)

We went today as a family of four and all had a great time. The effort the team made to dress up and decorate the venue for Halloween was amazing - good job guys!

11-4pm £19 for all the family (only one skate hire needed) can’t beat a indoor cheap, healthy day out on a winter day

We have been a few times through the school holidays with my 5 year old daughter. She had never skated before. I can not praise the staff enough. They took time to show her how to skate and go around with her, then kept checking in on how she was doing. Its a great day out and not expensive. Will definitely be returning.
