We ate here as part of a trip to the Lake District from a cruise that docked in Liverpool.
We had three courses. The first course was salmon that looked like it came straight out of a can and was mixed with some herbs and then pressed into a round shape. The main course was boneless, skinless chicken, I think was boiled. It was served with under cooked small potatoes and green beans. My potatoes had bad spots that were not cut out. Dessert was sticky toffee pudding that was good. Amazingly poor quality for a Princess cruise excursion.
The hotel has peeling paint everywhere. There is noticeable mold outside and inside. Our view of the lake was blocked by buses. An hour and half waste of our time.More
