At the end of the day, it's not the Ritz, so you get what you pay for. Our double room for the night cost about £60 and, to be honest, we had a comfortable, quiet night's sleep.
Upon arrival, we were concerned about the noise levels: sitting in our room we could here staff sitting out the back smoking and chatting and laughing loudly. There seemed to be a hoard of kids also running around the place, talking loudly and slamming doors and we were tempted to not stop and head straight home.
However, eventually the kids left (I think they may have been friends of the proprietors) and didn't come back and one of the other guests was warned about noise levels in the morning (ironically the issuing of the warning was what woke us up!)
The breakfast was good: plentiful, good selection and piping hot and the owner was friendly throughout.
Parking, if you are lucky enough to find a space outside, was free with the B+B's parking permit.
The place is very well situated, being only a stone's throw from the beach.
Apart from that, well, it does the job I suppose!More
