they have worked so hard on the area, well done to all invloved.
new road is great, park and ride seems to work fine. we have even got lazer lights and the tower at the end behind the pavillion
the beach is long and very soft, i have been down the ramps that have always been here hope that they get more sand wheelchairs or board areas for us disabled guys to be able to get to the waters edge. they have got some great foods/drinks cafe on the beach.and loads of food outlets in the Town of WEYMOUTH, DORSET.All welcome come and have fun at our new look Weymouth.

I have been visiting Weymouth beach since I was a child, and have taken my family there on many occasions; when the weather's good Weymouth beach is glorious, with virtually everything you could want for a good day on the beach. Punch And Judy, donkey rides, fairground rides (for smaller children), food and drink - though this is expensive. The sand is golden, and the tide doesn't carry the sea in - or out - too far. The waters are shallow and safe, so shallow in fact that I have to wade out a long way to enjoy my customary holiday swim.
The sand turns to pebbles as you start to leave town towards Preston, but the stretch of sand is plenty long enough, even on Carnival day in August when the beach can be heaving with bodies. For families looking for the classic English seaside experience of a memorable day on the beach, you'll go a long way to better Weymouth.
