Visited The Pig with my husband for lunch. The grounds of the house are stunning and it’s great to walk around the kitchen gardens.
We ordered a mixture of the Piggy, forest and seafood bits for starters. These I would say were underwhelming and quite bland which was a shame.
We ordered the Hake and mullet for mains and were not disappointed these were cooked well and delicious. We shared a dessert which was highly recommended (chocolate tart) it was amazing! We also enjoyed the cocktails especially the Apple and Rhubarb pie cocktail which was yummy. Service was also very good.
All in all it was a lovely lunch in a great setting.More
