11 adults and 4 children descended on the property for a birthday weekend, arriving Friday and leaving on Monday. Spotlessly clean, warm as toast, hot tub ready to go and box of welcoming chocolates met us. A beautiful cottage set high up overlooking the most beautiful views in Cornwall, even the howling wind couldn't put a dampener on our stay. A short walk takes you to the town or slightly longer the other way to the stunning Widemouth Bay beach, a must if you are in the area. We didn't want to leave and most definitely want to go back - if they'll have us. Highly recommended and could find no fault. Thank you very much.

On arrival met at the door and offered complimentary tea and coffee which arrived with excellent shortbread. Superb (upgraded) room with mega sized bed and a generously sized shower with powerful jet. Breakfast was delicious & plentiful but you had to be fast off the mark because it was only available between 8.30 and 9.00. The owners reckon they are retiring soon so it will be a sad miss for Bude.

welcoming as Sally and her husband. If you need comfortable decent sized rooms then Harefield Cottage is that place.

Breakfast was very good, served wonderfully and was very delicious. A lot of variety so there is something that suits everyone.Unfortunately we didn't try their set dinner menu but I'm sure it would have been scrumptious!

Overall a wonderful stay, room and bathroom were exceptionally clean, they had complimentary coffee/tea with cookies and tv for when you want some entertainment.

We stayed in Harefield cottage for 3 nights during our week in Cornwall and wish we could have stayed more. After 6 hrs drive from London we were greeted by Sally with a pot of tea and shortbreads and a brief tour of the house (with swings in the garden and hot tub outside), and were truly made to feel like at home.
Location: about 5 mins drive/ 20 min walk from Bude on a coastal path of you enjoy walking.
Rooms: spacious and immaculately clean. Tea and coffee facility, and we even had robes in the room. Plenty of storage. Also the bathroom has both proper bath and a good shower (although pressure is rather weak if other guests are taking the shower). The cottage also has a spacious guest room with sofas and large tv, great if you have kids. Almost forgot - Sally left 2 teddies for our daughter to play with, faultless hospitality yet again.
Breakfast: very good standard and choice for B&B, in fact better than many 4 and 5 star hotels we stayed in. There are 2 breakfast rooms with large tables for guests to sit around, so you have a chance to exchange tips and share plans with other guests.
I could go on and on praising this little gem, definitely should be on your short list if you are going to North Cornwall.
