The cakes are a must to eat... fresh and delicious! Good, friendly service and good sized portions... freshly cooked in the galley kitchen... Great ambience. No expense has been spared to create a lovely, relaxed, warm atmosphere inside. Great views on the canal. Highly frecommended as one of only a handful of good eateries in Bude.
After an afternoon walk a group of us visited for afternoon tea/coffee, which is waitress service. On a calm, sunny, spring afternoon it's ideal as the boat is covered with transparent windows at the rear (removed in better weather). Rugs are supplied for dry, breezy or chilly days. The decor is attractive and it's very clean.
All teas and coffees were locally supplied, tasted good and of average price.
This floating restaurant on the Canal in Bude has never disappointed. The food has quality ingredients and is excellent. Very good quantities too. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
We had lunch here whilst in Bude for my husband’s birthday. It is really such a novel location - moored alongside the quay on Bude Canal. The food and the service were great, and very reasonably priced. It’s very cosy inside and lovely to look right out on the water. They also have a nice range of Cornish gins (although, as I was driving, I couldn’t partake!). Thoroughly recommended!
