Stayed here for the weekend, the staff are what makes this place so special, they are welcoming, helpful but above all smiling and friendly.
We stayed in a lovely room at the front of the pub, clean, comfortable and light.

We would recommend the Brendon Arms especially for its good location in Bude, Cornwall. It is a popular local pub with great food, (excellent full English breakfast). It has updated, clean rooms and very friendly, helpful staff. The many pictures of family history, hunting parties and shipwrecks related to the Brendon Arms are interesting. It’s just feet from lovely walks along the canal to the beach. We had a great time there.

I was in Bude for a weekend conference, and seeing the accommodation available on site I hastily booked this pub instead. It was warm and friendly, very welcoming and most happy to cook me an early breakfast. I stayed in a beautiful room which was spotless, with an enormous bathroom. There was free parking across the road, and they had no problem finding me something gluten free to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

Arrived Thursday before bank holiday weekend , very friendly and helpful staff that made you feel welcome , we were staying in the Old life boat house which is part of the Bredons accommodation which is apposite it has 4 parking spaces one for each apartment we didn't move our car till we departed on tuesday which i great but i did notice our car was blocked in a few times although the car park is for the Bredon and falcon hotel and there are signs up saying patrons only i never saw anyone check .
The apartment was very clean and everything you need there was an issue with the pull out bed which was broke in the lounge which we did ask about and a solution was offered.
We did have food at the Bredon arms and was brilliant quality and the staff yet again was friendly and helpful .

Busy pub in great location. Popped in on for food, good service, extensive menu and good selection of beers nice Doom bar. Nice garden to sit in sun and just have drinks also. Well worth a visit will definitely return.
