We were staying nearby and fancied a cake and coffee, when we got there we quickly realised that the food available looked to be something special. We ordered some local beers, several teas and coffees, the scallops, the soup, a gulash, mince filled pancakes, and 2 hearty burgers with twice cooked chips. The bill came to £66 and considering what we got, we were very pleased. Full up for the rest of the day. Staff were great.

We have all been to the Brig O Turk several times and have never been disappointed. From the outside it does not look as though it could be anything special. It is. The food is outstanding and it is set in a beautiful area. A visit to Loch Kathrine just down the road would not complete without a visit to T B O T. Everything that good about this is finished off with family friendly staff of the highest order. Well done guys. I hope to visit your other place Poppies restaurant in Callander soon.

My family stopped here after walking out of another cafe that was totally disorganised, we were just looking for a quick lunch before a boat trip at Loch Katrine. I thought from the look of the place it would be serving soup/cheese rolls/scones. (Which would have been fine!). Got a surprise to see such an interesting menu, and decided to try it out. We are so glad we stopped now that we've sampled several things from it!

The food was excellent, the service was warm but also highly efficient (it was full the whole time but we didn't wait long for anything), and the whole experience was a real surprise, this place has definitely raised the bar for small tea rooms! We loved that they didn't have a kids' menu but offered chicken/fish goujons, and a few other options for the children. We had a halloumi dish, chicken schnitzel, fish goujons, and a sublime chocolate mousse, and everything was fresh & delicious - more restaurant food than tearoom style.

We liked it so much that we went back for morning coffee and cake a couple of days later and were met with the same warm service & excellent food. My daughter liked that they had games and my son loved the piano in the corner - the staff kindly let him play.

Overall, it's a wee gem and well worth a visit if you want to eat something a bit different on your holiday in the Trossachs. Book though - it's small and turned a few folk away when we were there for lunch, due to lack of space.

We stopped here for lunch after a visit to Stirling Castle and on our way to Loch Lomond. It is a small cottage with great food and super friendly service. My wife and I had the chicken salads which was excellent and the desserts are to die for. It's a really nice experience.

This "tearoom" is a wonderful place to visit after walking, or even driving around this beautiful area. We met up with some of our party who had just finished a 17 miles trek and desperately needed both rest and nourishment! We were made most welcome and quickly furnished with assorted drinks whilst studying the day's menu. The food was superb, especially the home made soups, and soon realised that this place was well known to regular walkers when it rapidly became full. It may be tucked away just off the road but this does not stop the visitors discovering this gem.
