“Scott's Bistro Fab 'n Friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2012

We visited here at the beginning of May with friends who had been before. I think it's most advisable to book as was very busy. The restaurant benefits from gorgeous views of Loch Achray. The daily menu is written on a blackboard situated just above the bar area. There's a good selection and the chef will alter these to cater for your taste where necessary. I startred with a game terrine with oatcakes and gooseberry chutney as was feeling adventurous and hadn't really tried gooseberries before. Delicious. Main couse was the old favourite chicken with haggis in a whisky cream sauce. Dessert was chocolate rice pudding. Made with cream butter rissotto rice etc absolutely scrummy. At approx £18 for 2 or £21 for 3 courses it does represent great value for money... Would highly recommend if your holidaying in the area but remember to book. It was a fab night when we went and the views were stunning. Clean plates needless to say all around :)

“Good quality friendly, a little out of the way unless staying at Tigh Mor”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 June 2012

We really enjoyed our stay at Tigh Mor. Scotts Bistro is a bonus and well worth a visit The area does not have many eateries but this is a good one. It was our second visit and we will definitely go again.

“Lovely relaxed evening”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 February 2012

Food was amazing and was served very quickly. Only one constructive criticism would be that there were no menus and we had to read off of a black board, the writing was unclear, would be nice to see a menu and read the descriptions. Apart from that it was wonderful!
