Found this place by chance on Easter Day lunch time. Not seen it before.
The Fleur de Lis...yes that is the spelling...is tucked away behind the High Street, not far from the Priory. You might have to look for it
There is a small patio outside for eating on warm days, but we found it best inside.
There was a pretty broad menu, and a fine selection of home made cakes, and the place is so compact that you can actually watch the cakes being made, the food prepared...and chat to the ladies preparing it all at the same time.
The food seemed very good, and the prices reasonable.
I had the selection of charcuterie which came with a number of small dishes of olives, gherkins etc and their bread with olives in it. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
My wife had their take on Welsh Rarebit and said she would have that again.
Try it.

Popped in for lunch at the weekend and was lucky enouth to find an empty table, most other eateries in christchurch were packed but this place is somewhat of a hidden away gem. Had a panini with side salad and a drink, all food was excellent, you could really tell the ingredients were very fresh and the staff took pride in what they were serving.

Good atmosphere, nice surroundings, good food which didnt break the bank, I dont think I could have had a better fresher lunch anywhere. Well done to all.

Stopped here on mothers day with my mum and nan, we had a wide range of cakes to choose from. They both went for the coffee and walnut and I had the blood orange and chocolate cake! pleased to see a cake that was chocolate on top but not the actual cake and this was filled with a pleasant orange curd. All cakes/teas/coffees very much enjoyed!
