“Beautiful home in beautiful surroundings”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

The other reviews have already said it all. The house is beautifully presented and was exceptionally clean. The house itself is a luxurious holiday home with a stunning garden and fantastic views. It is also in a great location for exploring Enniskillen town (15min drive) and the surrounding area. Plenty of places to see - Mark will supply you with tourist information. The home-made scones were a lovely treat on arrival and then Mark brought us home-made rhubarb pie - it was delicious! Mark's hospitality and the accommodation both we deserve 5 stars!

“Fantastic accommodation”
Reviewed 22 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Just back from a three night stay at Mountview. It exceeded our expectations. House, grounds and facilities were top class. Were able to take our dog with us and got met by the owner Mark who provided us with scones and pastries on arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. Thoroughly recommended.

“Fantastic Place to Stay - Cannot Recommend Highly Enough!”
Reviewed 20 July 2014 for a stay in July 2014

If you are looking for a little bit of peace and quiet, don't mind being in a rural location being situated next to a working farm with sheep and cattle (not intrusive by any means), but still only 5 miles from the centre of Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, you would be hard pressed to find better than Mountview Self Catering.

We were met by Mark, the owner, who has a very charming manner and made us feel like we were old friends, rather than complete strangers - that takes a special sort of character! Home baking that was heavenly, plus necessities like tea, coffee, sugar and milk was provided.

An automatic lockable gate meant we could let our three children outside with no worries of wandering off.

Simply exceptional.

Thank you for booking Mountview and that you enjoyed your stay. Glad the farm animals looked after you. A wee bit of variety is needed. All been well you'll be back to Fermanagh again.

Wow what a holiday cottage just like it says on the tin 5 star.We stayed here for my sisters birthday, when we arrived there was a birthday cake in the fridge and later that night Marks mother Gladys baked a lovely rhubarb tart .The cottage has every thing you could ask for from music piped to every room and TVs in every room huge fridge freezer ,dish washer and double country cooker. there is a beautiful sun room and a TV room with a 50 inch set .there are 3 bedrooms 2 of which are ensuit .the cottage boosts a huge garden with patio area and there is also bbq. This is an ideal a location for touring Fermanagh and Donegal were we had ago at horse riding. Also near by is Florence court house and the marble arch caves, which are well worth a visit .I forgot to mention the cottage is dog friendly as we had 3 dogs with us ,they had a ball in the large gardens. The hosts Mark and Gladys could not do enough for you

“A slice of heaven”
Reviewed 20 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

A beautiful home in the most amazing surroundings. We were a party of 4 adults and two small children. We were met personally by the owner - Mark, on arrival. A kinder man you could not ask to meet. The small touches were most needed - milk, home made jam, fresh scones, coffee, tea and sugar to say the least. Our request for a cot and high chair was of no bother to Mark.
I booked this property because of previous reviews and of course, location and size.
We highly recommend a stay at Mountview and hope to be back soon.
