“Home from home - fantastic”
Reviewed 15 August 2011

We spent one night here and wished it was more - very family friendly and made to feel very much at home - food great and everything we could need was catered for. Very clean and comfortable. Highlight for my six year old son was the little pups and a tour of the farm from Paul.
Many thanks to Pat for a warm welcome - we will be back

Room Tip: Very clean and all mod cons - lovely decor

This bed and breakfast was one of the best establishments we have ever visited. The premises are of a very high standard. Room was very clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless with plenty of towels and toiletries. The cooked breakfasts were made fresh to order and were simply delicious. Paul knows how to serve up a fry and his fried egg is amazing. The other owner Pat is very welcoming and you immediately feel like you are at home. We also got to meet the family pets including a litter of beautiful black labrador pups. Gorgeous. And off course I cannot leave out "Jack" the peacock. What a beautiful bird!!! Unfortunately we only got to stay one night as we were visiting our daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren who were on holiday in a nearby caravan site. However we will definitely be back in the near future and I would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for top class accomodation at a very reasonable price.

We have just returned from a family wedding in Ireland having stayed at the chalet at Drumshane House. The chalet was excellent: Very clean and comfortable, well equipped and with ample accomodation for the 5 of us: My Wife & I shared one of the rooms with my 8 year old daughter while my parents had the other room. That still left us with 1 unused bed.

A particular mention must go to the owners: Pat & Paul. They are very welcoming and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble. They provided fruit, milk, cereal, bread, tea and coffee for when we arrived and Paul even took us on a tour of the farm yard to see his varied collection of animals - My daughter was particularly delighted to be able to collect herself a fresh egg from the chickens!

The location is good - in lovely countryside but just minutes from Irvingstown which has a good range of shops and take-aways. If you happen to be going to a wedding at the nearby Manor Park Hotel, this place is ideal.

Highly recommended!
