We stopped here for a few nights, really well set out with quite private pitches (we had a fully serviced pitch). There are two fields, one is more sloping than the other, with good views over the rolling hills (when it’s not misty). Very well stocked shop and off licence, a fish and chip van visits close by on Wednesday evening and if you can’t be bothered to cook you can walk down to the pub by the ferry crossing in 10 mins (it takes a bit longer coming back up and there are no street lights so take a torch).
Only niggle was the shower heads are static and tend to gush quite forcefully, so make sure you have the shower curtain closed or you’ll flood the compartment.More
