We loved our stay here. The hotel is really lovely and the location is fantastic. All of the staff were brilliant and we even were lucky enough to be given a river view room upgrade upon request.
The only downside to our visit was that our room was near to the lifts so we were repeatedly woken up by big groups of stags and hens coming back from a night out. Some of them also congregated in the corridor for a while too but it wasn’t long enough for us to call reception. It was just a bit of a nuisance but not the hotel’s fault. I would definitely return but I would ask for a room away from the lifts. It would be good if there was a “quiet floor” available where it was guaranteed that stag/hen bookings wouldn’t be on that floor.

Just returned from two nights B&B at this fantastic hotel. From the our check in until our check out we had an amazing time. Greeted with a glass of fizz on arrival as it was our anniversary, then another treat waiting for us in our room too. We were upgraded to an executive King size room with superb views over the Tyne bridges. Our room was huge and had everything we could have needed. The bed/mattress itself perhaps has seen better days but all good. We had access to the executive lounge with its amazing views and complimentary drinks and snacks - a lovely way to start an evening out. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant followed by drinks in the bar... All of which (contrary to other reviews) were excellent and great value for money. The concierge was extremely helpful and very friendly indeed. We couldn't fault this hotel and look forward to a return trip one day. Thankyou gateshead Hilton.

Quite a nice clean hotel with the usual amenities and services. The rooms are clean and fresh looking with the gigantic TV which means you don't need to squint!

Breakfast was good and usual options though as with most hotels slightly expensive.

Stayed here for two nights whilst attending a conference. I was lucky enough to be on the 3rd floor with fantastic views of the river and bridges.

The room was large with the most comfortable bed and pillows. It was clean and had everything most would need, from toiletries, tv, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities etc.

The hotel itself is bright and airy and had a cosmopolitan feel about it. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. All staff I encountered were friendly.

A great hotel - would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was a nice walk from the railway station, probably made better in the sun. The hotel was very clean. The Rooms are nice and big. The bed was a good size. Breakfast buffet has plenty of choice and was well presented with excellent interaction from the staff. Visited the bar for a snack at 4pm and the food was quick, presented great and some excellent friendly interaction with the staff members. Check in was easy and details were well explained.
