Second visit in six months when on a local break. Interesting and fun archery with instructors who can manage to keep everyone's interest no matter what age. Kids loved it

“Great fun, well organised!”
Reviewed 19 March 2012

Three of us enjoyed an archery session at Craggan and we'd all recommend it. The instructors were helpful and organised but also joined in the banter so it was a good laugh - a good option for families or groups of friends if you fancy trying something different.

“Great staff, great location, great fun!”
Reviewed 10 December 2011

I took part in a 6 week entry level course for aspiring outdoor instructors and had a fantastic time. I came away with a range of qualifications and invaluable experience. The staff were very friendly and put everything into running a top quality centre. The range of activities available and the quality of instruction offer an experience second to none for anyone after a little adventure and fun in the outdoors. The accomodation available is also very nice. I lived in the Bothy and spent a lot of time with my course-mates in the Bunkhouse and found them very cosy and fit for purpose. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The accomodation is set in a spectacular landscape which offers wonderful walks and challenging mountain biking at your doorstep. The club house is also very cosy and welcoming. You can enjoy good food, drink and service with a smile by the warmth of the fire. I would whole-heartedly reccommend Craggan Outdoors.

“Outdoor Instructor Course - entry level”
Reviewed 9 December 2011

I participated in Craggan's entry level instructor course and it was a great experience. The staff were all very friendly and had excellent technical skills and effective teaching styles. I learnt a lot and came away with all the qualifications possible in the timeframe for my level and this owes a lot to the patience and efforts of the instructors. This course also focused on softer skills, different approaches to instructor delivery and demonstrated the importance of being a good communicator in order to be a good instructor. Overall the course was well structured with a weekly timetable of activities and well run making the most of my time there.
