Excellent service and food. Very friendly and welcoming to our family. Great creamy mushrooms and lamb shanks to die for.

Stopped on a Monday night during our Narrow Boat trip up the Rochdale Canal. Stayed for the Quiz night. Stopped again on a Thursday night for dinner and drinks. Highly recommend.

We took the aged P's here for lunch as they enjoy a good roast, they chose chicken and got half a one each. This came with the typical accompaniments and a side dish of mixed vegetables (these had been sprinkled with black pepper so not being great fans , they managed to poke some less peppered ones from the underneath)
They did a sterling job demolishing the chicken and it kept them quiet for ages.

After being refused dinner at the Lord Nelson at 6:25pm despite advertising open to 7pm. We were encouraged to walk down to the 'At The Weavers' and it was worth the walk. Staff including Owner were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. We were asked on two occasions whether we were happy with everything.
Give the Lord Nelson a miss and visit here for a wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic meal at the weavers. Service and food was first class. The owner Mori was very helpful and fantastic with our two children. Nothing was to much trouble. Pasta was home made and first class. And the pizza was to die for. Price was good we have paid more at a takeaway. Restaurant is spotless so is bar area. You can see in the kitchen the food been cooked which is a good thing it's spotless. Overhaul I will be going back and would recommend. Great place to go. And they are fantastic with children.
