“Perfect location”

Perfect location, gated garden which is good if you have children. Cottage is lovely but a bit smaller than you'd think looking at the photos. Also on the photos there is a slide set, which is not available to use! Owners left some goodies for us on our arrival and flowers on the table, which was a lovely surprise. Quite expensive but I think that is the location, which is second to none.

“Private, superb location, cosy cottage and sunny garden: perfect!!”

We stayed for 2 weeks with two under 5's and had the best holiday ever. The kids had a great time in the big and sunny garden (mostly fenced off so safe) and we had many nice evenings in the garden and the cosy house. Plenty to see and do: the beautiful coastline, the New Forest, the Isle of wight, close to cities/towns like Southhampton and Bournemouth and of course Lymington itself is a very charming town. Price/quality very good. The house is genuinely 10 min walk from the town and harbour and a nice pub with lovely garden with playground. Only minor issue is a lack of cupboard space in the kitchen so advice is to bring a crate for your food.

“Great first stop after a 24 hour flight, comfotable cottage”
Reviewed 14 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

It was great to be welcomed with a supply of basics before we could get oriented and find the shops etc for ourselves. The first morning was a wonderful surprise with snow covering everything. The kids first ever sight of snow and first snowballs! Thanks Jo for supplying that too,
The cottage was so warm and comfortable we hadn't realised there was snow until we opened the curtains. Everything worked well and there was lots of information about the local area. A good base to refresh and then check out the south east of England. For us Aussies places like Stonehenge, Portsmouth and Hastings are within easy reach (couple of hours at most).
