Stayed for one night .. Lovely big clean room, nice bathroom.. Delicious breakfast made to order and do vege sausages and have filter decaf coffee.. Only negatives and this is personal preference is that there are no blackout blinds and light curtains and no full length mirror in room.. The owners are both lovely, very helpful and can't do enough for you.. Would defiantly return

After reading previous reviews, I booked a two night stay at the Gaydon Hotel. The room was a twin-bedded at the front and the sea could be seen from the side window! Everything was provided in the room; tea, coffee, hot chocolate with fresh milk if you asked for it. We also had some homemade flapjack on the tray both days. The bathroom was large with toiletries supplied and a good shower. The breakfasts were the best we have had in either hotel or bed and breakfast. They were good quality tasty bacon, sausages and black pudding with eggs cooked however you preferred them. Porridge could be pre-ordered the night before and this was worth doing, very enjoyable. Sue and John are extremely good at their job, making you feel comfortable in their home. For £55 per night, this was a bargain.

I stayed at the Gaydon for 2 nights and was so impressed I have booked for a further 3 nights in June. Sue and John were extremely friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean with nice toiletries and a good breakfast in the morning to start my day.It is conveniently situated near the sea, a short walk from St Annes shops with buses running to Preston or Blackpool very regularly.
I will be back again later in the year and would certainly recommend it

My family and I stayed here on a Saturday night; we had two family rooms; mine for two adults and one child and my sisters for two adults and two children. The rooms were spacious, clean with all the facilities you could need. Sue and John; the hosts were fabulous; they were really welcoming and helpful, arranging taxis for us and suggesting places to eat nearby.
The beds were really comfortable and the breakfasts were brilliant.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and were really well looked after, we most certainly would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and if we come to Lytham again we will do our best to stay here.
Thank you John and Sue xx
