“Very Happy with the Premier Inn”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

We stayed here for two nights over the weekend and cannot fault it .
Despite there being a major refurb at the moment it didnt affect us .The staff were very helpful arranging taxis for us.
The room was really nice clean and modern, just what we've come to expect from a premier inn .

The hotel is having work done, the smell of paint is in the room still. The men start at 9am even on sundays !! which I had to ask about as was not told.
Over all the rooms are lovely as refurb:. Large TV with Freeview.
Lovely staff and hearty breakfast next door.
Parking poor as spaces taken up by the workman.
When finished will be a lovely hotel, will be going back later in spring.

Despite being in the middle of a total update the whole place was immaculate, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable with everything you need. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming, the adjoining Beefeater had a good atmosphere with excellent food and friendly welcoming staff. The disturbance caused by the re-modelling was minimal and only really affected a small area of the parking lot. Overall a great stay and just down the road is Ross Labels Outlet so well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Triple glazed windows made sure the rooms facing the road (and views) were very quiet !!

We had booked in to the 'Travellers Rest' andour companions were contacted by the staff to advise of the work that was taking place. As this was just going to be out base for a couply of days we were happy to continue with our booking. On our arrival we were greeted very warmly by Wendy and Chloe (who were first class) and they went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable room. Chloe was extremely helpful the following morning helping us to sort out where we were visitng. All in all the staff at the Premier and the adjoining Beefeater made our stay very pleasureable.

We stayed for 1 night only at the end of February as a family of four.
There was work going on at the hotel, and the car park was a little smaller than it would normally be. However, it was not an issue, as there was plenty of parking at the Beefeater next door. I had also had an email from the hotel informing me of this, and stating that we had been put in a room away from the refurbishment. We certainly experienced no problems from noise, etc.
The room was very spacious, modern and clean, and the bathroom also was spotless with a very efficient shower and plenty of towels. I found the staff to be very welcoming and efficient.
Breakfast was free for our two children, as they accompanied us. The food was very good, and there was plenty of choice.
I would definitely stay here again when visiting Ross-on-Wye.
