I was passing through Banbury for the first time and looking for an inexpensive light lunch. I found this little cafe by chance down an alleyway away from the main shopping street so went inside. It was clean, busy but crowded and had a nice selection of light meals and sandwiches etc. made to order for reasonable prices. I was soon greeted by the friendly proprietor and promptly served with a jacket potato and garnish (£4.75) along with a generous pot of tea.
It was all nicely presented and thoroughly enjoyable. A nice little chance discovery with what appeared to be a loyal local clientele.
