On the plus side, I got a family room for just £42 - it was clean and comfortable enough, and included a large TV, tea/coffee, free wifi, and free parking. However, it was very dated, particularly the sofa was thread bare, and the bath was so mouldy around the sealant that I could not use it. There is a Premier Inn nearby, so compare the prices and choose for yourself.

First of all I have to say the lady on reception was very nice and friendly, but a very poor impression at first glance, this not a Travelodge or Priemier Inn but prices are the same, both my choices were full so had very little choice, it is very dated indeed, needs a complete re-furb, carpets were horrible throughout stained, needs painting badly throughout and new fixtures and fittings are required, the room was tired and dated, stains and not really very clean at all. I do understand hotels get tired but it clearly has not had any improvements in years, so really much work to do, I would not stay again, very poor standard throughout, but as I say very nice staff who cant help the decor and standard of the hotel they work in, Left disappointed

Room on ground floor with the outlook onto a petrol station forecourt. On the whole the room was clean but there was a worrying stain on the wall. There appeared to be some form of cloth cover / sock over the smoke detector.

The controls for the shower was missing. When I did get it to work the water was either hot or scalding hot. The bathroom could have done with a renovation.

The room had a microwave and a fridge but no hairdryer.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

A good value budget hotel - very clean, comfortable and helpful staff. No facilities other than tea/coffee in room - no dining room or bar and some traffic noise from the busy roads nearby. Nevertheless, good value.

This was the only hotel I could find with rooms still available on the weekend I was visiting and it was low cost.

Got a double room, room had 2 pillows, I am used to 4 (2 each), a TV, microwave and kettle.

The shower was okay, however there was a bunch of duct tape holding part of the floor in bathroom together. It's okay at home to fix things with duct tape/WD40 but not so much in a hotel.

This place is good if you are looking for low cost, however I would rather pay a bit extra and stay elsewhere!
